I'm an Italian big fan of Stanley and I want to know if anyone has:

1) the following videos directed by Stanley on VHS or DVD:
Public Image Ltd. (The Body), Renegade Soundwave (Probably a Robbery), S-Express (Superfly Guy), Coldcut (Stop This Crazy Thing), Pop Will Eat Itself, Blue Pearl (Naked in the Rain) and Terrorvision (American TV)

2) the following documentaries/shorts/movies, directed by/featuring Stanley on VHS or DVD:
That Deadwood Feeling, directed by Simon Ubsdell starring Stanley, also known as: Three Men in a Restaurant (UK) (working title)
In the Belly of the Beast
The Voice of the Moon
Secret Glory
White Darkness
Rites of Passage
Incidents in an Expanding Universe

I'm willing to pay a lot in order to have a copy of them.

Regards,
Luca ~ email mi8075 [at] mclink.it

Luca,

The Voice of the Moon, Secret Glory, and White Darkness will be coming out in the Dust Devil boxed set on Sept. 26th from Subversive Cinema.

Cheers.

'In the Belly of the Beast' was released with the 2-disc version of Jim Van Bebber's MANSON FAMILY from Anchor Bay UK and Dark Sky Films (in US).
Adam

by the way Norm, I'm very much looking forward to your DUST DEVIL release. easily one of those "thought it'd never happen" releases :D
don't suppose Miramax'd let you release HARDWARE next?, with a bonus disc of Stanley's music videos and short films?

Not to mention the fact that we have Stanley's interview from it here.

Not to speak on Norm's behalf, but at least the corporate wrangling behind that film's been discussed here.

Welcome aboard.

thanks sic.
I've been a long time visitor to your website for all things Richard Stanley (it's a fantastic site by the way - I still haven't waded through all those interviews you've transcribed, and was glad to see the "Dust Devil, Tarkovsky and God" interview I first came across in a long since vanished issue of the wonderful Flesh & Blood mag) and only noticed the day I first posted that there's a forum attached. I'm the only person I know who actually likes (adores) Stanley's films so the community is a good thing - hard to believe there are actually new useful things the internet provides.

man, I cannot wait these 2 long months until Subversive's release (it's stuff like this that prevents me from giving away DVD altogether-not exactly going to find it in an Australian video store, though Hardware on video is plentiful) though my ramble has taken me just a bit off topic so I'll stop here.

cheers
Adam

Public Image, Ltd. -- The Body

Renegade Soundwave -- Probably a Robbery

S'Express -- Superfly Guy

Coldcut -- Stop This Crazy Thing

Pop Will Eat Itself ... Richard didn't actually do any videos for PWEI...

Blue Pearl -- Naked in the Rain

I couldn't find the Terrorvision vid... :(

It just so happens that I have now found this previously un-found music video, by Terrorvision, called 'American TV', released in 1993.

(wow, I am again surprised and amazed anew at this forum's longevity, looking at this thread -- the original question was posted in 2004 -- and the last post was in 2008, 4 years ago! Far out..)
