Very nice work! :D

What's the title of the movie?

Is it a feature or a short?

Thanks, Mark 13! :D

The movie runs 35 minutes (I think it qualifies as a featurette) and its title is EDGERUNNERS. Its plot centers around a briefcase containing the solution to the upcoming "Year 2000" computer bug. (Boy, THAT dates the movie, doesn't it?)

It's a bit tongue-in-cheek, given its low budget. Some of the supporting characters' acting is weak, and one or two scenes are completely absurd- but overall, I'm quite proud of it. It's a fun piece. It was shot in mini-DV, and edited on an AVID Media Composer (I borrowed everything from a place I was working at) and matted with an anamorphic mask to give it widescreen look.

We shot during a heat wave, so 90% our outside scenes had bright sunlight.

Thanks to the sun, our exterior shots were just as colorful as our interiors! :)

Seemed fun. :)

The title keeps reminding me of BLADE RUNNER, btw.

We wanted a catchy title that described the three protagonists- and came up with that! :) Most of the films I've done have one-word titles- they're easier to remember that way, I suppose.

Thanks for the compliments, guys! :D

I've seen it! Thanks Glurrk!

It's a very funny video!

I loved the main character - he's so funny.

Why I can't see it on the IMDB? There are guys around who did less and are listed there!

Please, no names! You will only inflate my ego! :) Glad you like the movie, Mark 13! (Got there faster than I expected...)

I imagine I should look into getting it listed there. One more thing to take care of. (Thanks for the suggestion.) :)

P.S.- If you watch the extras, you'll see that the main character replaced the ORIGINAL actor- and ended up being FAR better than him! 8)

I'll give a look at it - I still have to listen to the commentary track too.
A good choose, anyway.

Well, you know, I started trying trans-Atlantic mail just recently, but till now it has been quiet fast - a part for my subscription to Fangoria (I received the June issue just a couple of days ago  ).

For the sheer hell of it (because I noticed that this thread still gets a ton of views) I thought I'd post a few more pics taken with my HDcamcorder...

ImageThis is near Split Rock Lighthouse State Park in Minnesota.

ImageSundown over Lake Superior.

ImageThis is Gooseberry Falls, also in Minnesota.

I'm aching to get my next movie off the ground, but it looks like it won't happen 'til after the holidays. January 2006 can't come soon enough for me!

Thanks, Mark 13! :D

Although I soon hope to be posting pics of the movie, rather than just vacation footage!
