in my experience 1 milligram of klonopin is equivalent to a little more than 5 milligrams of Valium and a little less than 10 milligram valium. if you want to try take a 0.5 milligram of klonopin then wait 24 hours and try a 10 milligram valium you will notice the10 valium is much stronger. and as far as the rest of you if you are going to mix ...
Personally, I find 1 mg of clonazepam to feel like 5-10 mg of diazepam depending on potentiators and so forth. I personally find clonazepam to be extremely subtle in its effects.
Dr. Fietsam responded: About 0.2 mg. Valium is about 5 to 10 times weaker than clonazepam therefore an equivalent dose would be 5 to 10 times more.
Re: how much clonzepam is equal to xanax? SWIM usually finds 1mg of xanax to be a bit stronger than 1mg of clonazepam but according to a table of equivalent benzo dosages they are of the same potency: 1mg Xanax = 1mg Clonezepam = 20mg Diazepam But clonazepam lasts much longer at least twice as long in SWIM's experience.
For valium it would be 2 mg, 2 to 4 times a day, but might go higher. In this sense, Klonipin is a more potent drug...less milligrams for an equivalent dosage, but that does not mean equivalent effect.
About 2mg clonazepam equals how much valium Workers fixed the hole, replaced carpet, repainted the entire unit and redid one and a half walls of drywall, according to apartment records. Learn More
Midazolam, lorazepam, diazepam, and phenobarbital are available in both parenteral and oral formulations. Because published benzodiazepine dose conversions are based on oral administration, parenteral formulations may not use the same conversion ratio.
This chart (from the above link) looks for the equivalent dose of a given benzo to equal 5 mg of diazepam (valium). So, you need .5mg of alprazolam (xanax) to equal 5 mg of valium, but you only need .25 mg of clonazepam (klonopin) to equal 5 mg of valium.
