That's a strange match. I wonder if Bruce is going to go all serious for Stanley, or is Stanley going to let Bruce "do his thing" on camera...

...ought to be worth checking out, at any rate!

It appears that VACATION has actually managed to break loose from the eternal "spin-cycle" it was trapped in.

Mr. Stanley, as advertised on his Myspace page, is in: Agadir, Morocco. Like, right now. :!:

And .. this is new:

According to my interview with Richard Stanley, he hopes to be filming Vacation, in August. Bruce Campbell has finished shooting on Season 3 of Burn Notice so could potentially be free for the movie.

The plot thickens!

It's been 17 years since Stanley shot his last feature film ... I hope we're lucky enough to see a new Stanley film soon!

My, my.

It seems that Stanley has replaced the old promo art with some far better. Funny he never mentioned it yesterday when the subject came up...

Are you still going ahead with Vacation?

Yes, set for August.

I have to say that I'm excited by this project. Some news that originally passed me by, and may not have filtered to you guys;

Haven't posted it yet due to a casting conundrum.

But Bryce is Dean Cain from Lois & Clark.

And that is 100% official.

Richard was at Frightfest in London seeing Giallo a few days ago, so unless Vacation was a hectically fast shoot, it's not been made.

Mmmm, yes. I'm angling for an update, myself. Wot the heck's been going on out there? Morocco was last year. Stanley has disappeared from his Myspace page. News, news, we must have news!

Right, boys.

It's been a bit quiet recently. Yours truly is currently experiencing a case of divided loyalties, as I know more than I'm allowed to divulge on a public forum, yet I'd like to be able to throw a meaty bone to you long-starving lot.

Let's see now. Richard is currently alive and well, working on things to come soon enough if all goes well. First, the Terra Umbra website at shadowtheatre13.com & the blog at terraumbra13.blogspot.com - an entry in the latter was recently retooled into a Fortean Times article.

Another thing, which has been somewhat publicized already: Richard's been laboring over an adaptation on JG Ballard's HIGH-RISE for director Vincenzo Natali and Recorded Picture Company. The recent surge of scripting duties has sort of thrown a wrench into everything else, but...

A short film based on Clark Ashton Smith's MOTHER OF TOADS will begin shooting in October at location in Southern France. The film will be a part of an upcoming anthology, scheduled for release next year. We're currently knee-deep in preproduction at the Shadow Theatre HQ, with a whole bunch of surprises on the way.

Yup, yours truly snagged a job on the film. Horrible, I know. As MOT is going to be a part of a larger whole, letting the cat out of the bag isn't entirely in our hands, so I can't exactly be running around passing details. But I can safely say you're going to like at least a few things on the opening credits alone...
