I'm looking for this movie for a long time but no one is able to help me. Between 1993 & 1998 I saw a film in which a group of policeman (in the future) entered into the ruins (I don't remember why) where they had to fight a mutant or something like that. They were lost in the underground where the mutant lives and kills them (the policeman) one after another. I remember that the mutant was looking like Baraca from the Mortal Kombat 2 game and had red eyes with some white stripes coming out from the center of the eye. The mutant was killing the police using a knife. I remember also that he cut out the liver of one of the policeman. There was a woman in that policeman squad. I think also that CHRISTOPHER LAMBERT or THOMAS JANE was acting as one of the policeman squad. I'm looking for the movie and still nothing. :furious: Anyone has any idea???

You would certainly be talking about "Adrenalin: Fear the Rush", one of Albert Pyun's many low (how lowww can it go!) budget flicks. Ol' Pyun's been known to put out a stinker or two (the 1990 version of Captain America?? Brain Smasher...a Love Story???), but he has done a couple I actively like -- Nemesis ('93) - a cyberpunk flick - and his first movie out of the gate was actually The Sword and the Sorcerer ('82), a movie on my 'guilty pleasures' list, one of various fantasy movies I was fond of growing up ... my other big sword fave of the time (and a definite guilty pleasure) is a little known one called "Hawk the Slayer" .. (man, that was one sweet Elven Mind Sword :D ) - it even starred Blank Reg (from Max Headroom) as a fighter. Heh.
It appears Pyun's been busy recently, too ... Infection ('05), a 68-min. movie that is one single uninterrupted sequence (!) shot (filmed in high-definition digital video, straight to hard drive), among other projects ...

Yeah, that's definitely Adrenalin- although I can't say the movie was aptly named. "Boredom" would have been more appropriate.

Don't forget, Pyun also gave us the 1990 version of Captain America, a genuine stinker if there ever was one. The symbol of Patriotism, cowering behind his shield while he sends the President of the US into danger first. Un-fucking-believable!

Christopher Lambert comments on Albert Puyn, as translated from French by Babelfish:

"I adore Albert Pyun. If this guy could take six weeks to make a film instead of doing them in fifteen days. Albert, it is a genius of the camera, it is extraordinary in his inventions. I said to him: "But whore Albert, you make this film in one week, takes three weeks, you will make a chief of work"."

When i saw Adrenaline for the first time I asked myself... What is Christopher Lambert doing in a low budget movie, huh? But i liked the film very much. At the time it was something like Ohh wow! Something diferent! Ohh  that's why I'm looking for this movie. Besides I like C. Lambert even if he isn't a great actor.

This is Albert Pyun. I hope you get to see Infection. It's a new me! One company in Italy might have Infection-
Gargoyle Books & Video
Via della balduina 120,
00136 Rome, Italy

Hope you enjoy the film! Thank you for your kind interest.
Albert Pyun

Seriously, that is Albert Pyun. I quoted that from an Italian blog, which concerned Infection. Pyun's e-mail addy's there, in case someone wants to say hi to the man. Spunky, ask him about the German cut of Adrenalin; it's said to be near 20 minutes longer.

20 minutes longer? Nice. But i'm not the kind who often orders music or movies from abroad. I don't earn too much money  But thanks for the tip. Actually i look for the trailer or something, but still nothing. I wonder how it'll look nowdays.
