Yeah, the program where Phoebus the Site Admin smears your ass all over this board for posting spam on his forum, slimeball!

Oh, silly me. Did I say ICQ Messenger? I was actually linking to a Photo management/manipulation program. Tee hee. You'd think I wasn't paying any attention at all to what I was linking to, me talking about IM programs and all. And I said "free", too, didn't I? I don't know if any of you followed the links I left, but if you did, you would have come to a site that was selling a photo program for $24.99. Ooopss!!! My bad. When I said "free", I meant free. So if you DO want it free, like I said it was, you can download it directly from the site I linked to (a trial version) - and enter this as your registration info:

Last name: bestforum.ws
Email: bestforum@ws

Whatever you do, do not try running any copy you find on a P2P network -- I myself have looked on the Gnutella network, and found many many copies -- that all were infected with the W32.Alcra.B virus. Pretty unpleasant. So whatever you do, don't go that route.
Sorry if I confused anyone with my erroneous misdirection. Bye for now!

Well, gosh. And I was almost thinking this was a spammer. How nice of him to ... set himself straight ...

hmmm, I wonder where those links went? Pesky links! They don't stay put, do they? Tsk tsk ...

... Last month we had a surge of spammers showing up in the memberlist ... so I broke out the flak jacket, and started passing thru literally every few hours -- whenever I was near the pc, for anything, I made sure that I peeked in on the list. Needless to say, all but moments after a spam account would appear -- it would disappear. :arnold: After a few days of this, the spammer in question let show an IQ point or two by realizing that he/she/IT was way wasting their time (even if it was mostly script based - my banning forced whoever it was to have to manually enter stuff) -- and left.
Well, looks like in the interm, a couple new ones have shown up. I've slapped all those down to the hell that spawned them .. but was suprised by this Andy one. Actually posted a message! -- Oh, wait -- two messages.

I'll be keeping a closer tab on the memberlist, weeding these bastards out the second they show. And andy's bros better not start up any more posting, unless they want to open up a serious firestorm and bring the party to their doorstep ... to quote a certain Mr. Banner ... "don't make me angry -- you won't like me when I'm angry ..."

(andy's IP: 65.39.251.34 -- I'd better not see it again, or I'm gonna be having a whole helluvalotta fun ...)
