Boy. I don't really know what to say, but still feel drawn to try and say ... something. Guess I'll figure it out as I go along ...
I just finished reading Stanley's
most recent blog entry, posted yesterday on his Myspace account. The announcement of visits from our "friends" in the giant walled pentacle came as no surprise. Being the host of
Everythingisundercontrol.org means it resides in my bailiwick, so I ... "know" things.
But then Richard began the telling of a tale, the details of which I had not previously been cognizant of. The details of which I am still digesting. And will likely be digesting for a while.
Although I am not currently in possession of any witty or snappy one-liners to post right now, I did realize that readers of Stanley's blog that haven't found their way here yet may be dropping in after that post. So a tip o' the hat to those now finding themselves here. Welcome.
Esta en su casa. Pull up a beanbag and make yourselves comfortable. Feel free to jump in. Or wade in ... your call. You
could lurk ... but you'd be missing out on the tactile enjoyment of interaction with fellow bipeds who may very possibly share certain interests.
phoeb.
P.S. And, sorry .. I wasn't trying to be witty and quote a Pashto word in the subject line ... it actually happens to be derived from Indonesian slang. But after reading Richard's story, it's an exclamation that for whatever reason felt appropriate.
