It seems pretty evident that Hardware 2 isn't going to happen, (as far as I've read from news here) but just for the sake of discussion, if it DID go through, do you think Richard would cast Stacey Travis as Jill again?

She's still acting, just in bit parts here and there. Also, I don't know how old she is, but I'm guessing she was in her early-to-mid 20's when she did Hardware. That would put her around 40 years of age now. (She's still not bad looking, I saw her in a bit role with Charlie Sheen on his sitcom "Two and a Half Men" some months ago. Does anyone know any other biographical info on her?)

For the sake of character continuity, it would be nice if it could happen. Of course, this is all supposition anyway. Anyone else have an idea who could play Jill today?

I saw Stacey Travis in a couple of the early episodes of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES (she was playing the addicted to rythalin-like pills mother): she looks good, even though her shoulders looked larger (I think she pumped up some iron recently: some previous photos were showing her a little plump - or maybe she did gym, but the shoulde effect was because of her dress) and obviously she is those 15 yrs older.

But that wouln't be a problem, since, according to the Espoo interview, HARDWARE 2 was supposed to be set 20 yrs after the first one. And make-up artits nowaday can do miracles.

So there were rumors about a Hardware 2? Wow I always wondered about this. We could use a movie like this between all the holywood cgi rubble out there, and the story of hardware 1 is perfect for a sequal.

And no matter how out of date or unknown hardware is for most people out there, it has been so long ago, they should make hardware 2 maybe under another name, but set in the same setting as hardware one. And of course use the M.A.R.K. 13 robot.

Yes! i was also thinking about it! "They" could do the same as they did with Pith black & Riddick Chronicles they changed the name of the movie. Althrough they Changed the title of the movie they left everything else shoving us the rest of the fantastic universe in which the story of Pith black take place. & i'v noticed that after that people begun to take care a lot more about the Pith black movie. Before Riddick chronicles the film Pith black was almos unnoticed by people. If R.Stanley dont want to make HARDWARE II Maybe someon else find it atractiv.
