Yeah, it's something stupid, but now I understood why the Hitch character in DUST DEVIL takes photos of his victim: some cultures, in fact, believes that taking pictures of people means taking their souls - and that's what the Dust Devil does, so, before killing them, he's sure to have it.
I knew this thing for years, but I never connected the two things : before today, I always considered the Polaroid thing like a somekind of surreal twist, now I knoe there's something more under it.
